Communication

Citadel wallet supports a variety of interfaces for different applications and use cases. It supports 2 wireless protocols: Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC, as well as a single wired communication based on USB Type C. Citadel can be paired with a smart phone using BLE, a laptop using a USB-C, or a check register payment device with NFC interface.

Display

Citadel wallet integrates a 1.3" high resolution and color contrast LCD display. The LCD screen is large enough for users to see transaction information or other messages on a single page. Simultaneously, the device is small enough to fit into a pocket. The display also supports capacitive touch for enhanced user experience and interaction with the device.

Hardware

Citadel uses cutting edge technology to bring a level of security never before seen in the hardware wallet industry. In design micro controller, secure element, and storage device communications are end-to-end encrypted to remove any chance for MITM attack. The Secure Element has a rating of CC EAL6+ which will bring the highest level of protection to private keys.

Mechanical

Aesthetic design and ease-of-use have been a major focus in the development of Citadel wallet. Most hardware wallet products in the market have done a poor job in enclosure design with the assumption that aesthetics and user-friendliness is not important to crypto users. On the contrary, we have developed a mechanical design compatible with the likes of Apple smartphone and watch devices in order to bring convenience and joy while staying secure.
